Mátyás is a traditional family winary from south part of Slovakia. They work on 12 hectares of vineyards with bio certification. Main varieties are Pinot Blanc and Pinot Noir. They are member of authentic winemaker’s club in Slovakia. All their wines are made with respect to nature and old winemaking traditions and go through severe education in their deep and cold cellar. Final wines are lively with good structure well prepared to mature in bottles.
Somlyó 2017 - is mix of 3 different wines from the same vineyard. First part is made without maceration, second was macerated 14 days on skins and third was developed with uncrushed berries. All wines fermented spontaneously and aged in oak barrels, no additives besides sulfur, no fining, no filtering.
Cloudy 2017 - is an elegant and frisky combination of Pinot Blanc and Welschriesling. Wine fermented spontaneously and aged in oak barrels, no additives besides sulfur, no fining, no filtering.
Frankovka modrá 2017 - beautiful balanced Blaufrankisch. Wine fermented spontaneously and aged in oak barrels, no additives besides sulfur, no fining, no filtering.
